The first half of 2017 has seen lots of exciting opportunities evolve in our Thursday ‘community space’ at #19 Holden St (affectionately known as ‘#19’). The OpShop revamp and improved signage in January has seen us meeting a lot of new-turned-regular customers, and a renewed partnership between the English-speaking and Mandarin-speaking congregations of Ashfield Baptist Church has meant we have the opportunity to better serve the needs of our culturally and linguistically diverse community. The OpShop provides a point of community connection, as well as affordable, preloved goods, and for a gold coin donation, customers can enjoy a barista-made coffee in the #19 Cafe.
The OpShop opening hours are Thursdays 9am-2pm, and the Cafe is open 9-12!
