In April 2018. we celebrated the 40th anniversary of A.H Orr Lodge, part of Ashfield Baptist Homes. Some lovely jazz , played by Owen Gibson, welcomed the large crowd. Chair of ABH Board, Gordon Torry, provided a history of the developments over the past 40 years. The specially formed ‘AB/CB’ (Ashfield Baptist Church Band) performed for guests, playing mostly home grown songs (written by Glen Powell and Nick Potten).
