Having risen from the dead Jesus ascended to Heaven, leaving the early Christian community in Jerusalem to be witnesses of God’s work in the world. In this exciting new season for us as a church, we will journey alongside this community as they discovered the power of God to equip them for their new future and experienced the transformation that power brought. As we not only learn, but experience God at work in us, as this community did, I believe we will see God’s unstoppable power, building momentum in us to participate in all God is inviting us into.
