So, as some of us are getting used to by now, whilst others like me find the many changes quite disruptive, there have been further developments to the COVID restrictions for Greater Sydney and we are now entering two weeks of lockdown from 6pm tonight.
This means we will all be returning to Zoom for our services for tomorrow and 3rd July. Gather your family together, text your friends and we will see you online with a cup of tea from 9:15am tomorrow. Here is the link for that if you are trying to hunt that down. – Zoom.
As I have mentioned already in the last few days, remember that God is with us by His Spirit, He is our peace, He enables us to be a non-anxious presence in our communities when many around us are feeling fear. May I encourage you to keep an eye or ear out for your neighbours at this time, offer to collect groceries for them if you feel comfortable, give people a call, and check in electronically with those from our church community who you think might appreciate that too. We have a very great God who watches over us and invites us to love others as He has first loved us. What a privilege to get to do that, especially in times like these.
