It’s our national day of action when we remind Australians that every day is the day to ask, ‘are you OK?’ and start a meaningful conversation whenever they spot the signs that someone they care about might be struggling with life.
Our OP Shop/Cafe has always provided an opportunity for people in our community to be heard and know that they are loved.
This coming Friday, our OP Shop/Cafe team will be joining with the R U OK movement, and we will be welcoming people in to have a cuppa, cupcake and a chat.
We will be asking R U OK? and we are hoping that by listening to their stories people will know that they are not alone and that they are loved.
