“Then you will call upon me and come to pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” (Jeremiah 29: 12, 13)
God has a message here for all who have turned away from Him. He still cares. He still loves. He still has plans and a place for those who have gone their own way. Yes, even though we so often turn our backs on Him, He will not let us go. One thing though He seeks from us so that He may restore us into a right and perfect relationship with Him. We are to call upon Him and seek Him afresh with ALL our hearts. Not for God the half-hearted, lukewarm, “fair weather” approach to worship and to His service. He wants us to be all out, wholly committed to His cause and when we seek Him and pray to Him in this way, then we will find Him. That’s His promise!
